Open to all Chaumette guests, the Gathering Place is an area to enjoy cocktails, beer, or Chaumette wines while experiencing Missouri wine country. The elegant and inviting space is filled with plush seating and other beautiful furnishings both inside and outside on the wrap around porch. Take in the views and enjoy your favorite drink while chatting with friends.

    Our Chardonel, awarded 93 points and a gold medal by Tastings, is a white wine fermented in stainless steel, has fruit forward aromas of lemon, grapefruit and Fuji apple with a touch of honey. Enjoy as an aperitif or pair with white meats, fish, tacos and other light fare.

    Our Reserve Chardonel, awarded 91 points by Tastings, is a beautifully complex white wine, with aromas of peach, citrus, a hint of vanilla, and a creamy mouth feel. Aged and fermented in French oak. Pair with roasted nuts, creamy cheeses, shellfish, white meats, or light pasta dishes.

    Our French Oak Aged Chambourcin Reserve, awarded 90 points by Tastings, offers a medium-bodied red wine with a well-structured acidity that is a fine accompaniment to food or splendid on its own. Dark currents and baking spices greet the nose, setting the stage for bing cherries and earthy aromatics on the palate.

    Our Norton Reserve is extraordinary, full-bodied, French Oak aged red wine, offering an old world meets new world complexity of currants, dark berry fruit and hints of cherry juxtaposed by baking spice, cracked pepper, and vanilla highlights.

  • 2013 Port

    Our Port is a blend of grape varieties selected to contribute desired attributes such as color, body, fruit or backbone to the final wine. Vinted in the classic port style, we stop fermentation by running the fermenting wine into grape Brandy to preserving its natural sugars and is aged 18 months or more resting in oak barrels before it is bottled.
