Hiking

at Chaumette

on the beautiful grounds of Chaumette Winery

Find Chaumette’s Trails on AllTrails!

Did you know that you can locate our two beautiful trails on the AllTrails app? It’s simple! Here’s how you can find us and record your unforgettable journey:

  1. Search for “AllTrails” in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Download the app. It’s free and allows you to search for hiking and biking trails, as well as submit your own. You can upgrade to AllTrails Pro, which will allow you to download maps for offline use – no subscription required.
  3. To find the Norton Trail or the Chardonel Trail on AllTrails, type in “Chaumette Vineyard” on the home page. It will appear as Chaumette Vineyards & Winery: Norton Trail.
  4. Want to record your journey? When you’re ready to begin your hike, press the Navigate button under the title of the trail, which will bring up your map. Choose “hiking” as your activity, and then press start. As you travel you will create your own red line marking the path you take. Even if you stop for lunch or a rest, it will still record. Pause it if you like, or let it run in the background.
  5. Remember to stop and save your recording when you’re finished. Be sure to leave a review about your experience and share your photos!

Our hiking managers are on hand at The Chaumette Hiking Center tent, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer any questions you may have regarding our trails and others in the area, our reservable dining sites, using the AllTrails app, safe hiking, and more.

Happy hiking!
