The Barn at Chaumette is now open!!

The Barn at Chaumette is now open!!

You may have noticed that it seems as though I have dropped off of the face of the Earth. I kind of have. Opening the Barn has taken a lot of energy and time. It has been well worth it. It is all that I hoped and dreamed it would be! So far to date we have had four events there. We started with our company party, then we had Bride magazine from St. Louis followed by our first two weddings. It has been quite an adventure, I am so glad I was here for all this excitement!   I will blog about each of the weddings as the pictures come in.

On Tuesday May 22, 2012 Bride Magazine came in for a visit along with about 15 wedding planners from the St. Louis area.  We had invited them out to have lunch in our new venue, the Barn.  Of course we gave them all the full tour!  We visited our Ballroom, Barrel room, Chapel, Spa and villas.  We brought together a great team to work together to make the event a great success!   It is so much fun to work with other professionals in the wedding business, putting our ideas together to make one grand plan!  I think the pictures speak at least a thousand words….why don’t I let you be the judge of that….

I love this barn and this is the perfect place to get married! Some quick questions…do you do the decorating? I liked the theme with the glasses, table seating chart, lights, lanterns, etc, but didn’t know if the bride and groom have to provide those or if that was something already in place?

Thanks Jessi! The barn is a really romantic location to get married and have your reception! As for your questions above, we provide the white table linens, the lanterns, water and wine glasses, as well as china. We also provide the sting lighting. So, as you can see, we provide some of the items and our Brides will bring items to personalize the venue. If you would like more info, feel free to email me at rhonda@chaumette.com
